Infusion Therapy for New City Patients

A standing infusion can swallow most of a New City patient's day, usually with a drive to a busy hospital wing on either end. Montefiore Nyack and Good Samaritan in Suffern do serious work, but a routine biologic rarely calls for a hospital floor. Oasis Family Health sits a few miles north of New City and does nothing but infusions. Our NP and RN team gives biologic and specialty IV medications in a private, unhurried room. We care for people managing rheumatologic, gastrointestinal, neurologic, and bone-health conditions, and we stay in close touch with your specialist so the plan they wrote keeps running, just a lot closer to home.

For years the routine in a lot of New City households has been to budget a half day for an infusion, most of it spent driving over to Westchester or down to a Manhattan hospital and back. There's a closer option now, fifteen minutes up Route 45 in Pomona. The chair is private and the room stays quiet. You tend to see the same nurse, so by the second or third visit nobody is re-reading your chart from scratch. The prior authorization gets worked out between us and your provider's office, which takes that chase off your plate. We bill most major insurance plans and talk directly with the rheumatologists, GI doctors, and neurologists treating patients around New City and the rest of Clarkstown.

Serving New City & Nearby

We welcome patients from across New City, including the Main Street and Maple Avenue core, Lake Lucille, Germonds, Strawtown, the New Hempstead border (10956).

Biologic & specialty medications we administer

If your specialist has written an order for it, there's a good chance we can give it. The list we keep covers infliximab (Remicade, Inflectra), vedolizumab (Entyvio), ocrelizumab (Ocrevus), and teprotumumab (Tepezza). We run IVIG. We also handle the bone-health drugs like zoledronic acid (Reclast) and denosumab (Prolia), plus a long roster of others. When you're not sure yours is covered, call ahead and we'll check the name against what we stock.

  • Rheumatology & GI biologics (Remicade, Entyvio, Stelara, Simponi Aria and more)
  • Neurology infusions (Ocrevus, Tysabri, Briumvi)
  • Bone-health infusions (Reclast, Prolia, Evenity)
  • IVIG, iron infusions (Injectafer, Venofer, Feraheme) and more

Insurance & referrals from New City providers

Most major plans are billed here, and the prior authorization is something we sort out directly with your specialist's office so it isn't sitting on your shoulders. Say your rheumatologist on Main Street or a GI doctor over by the county complex in New City has put you on an infusion. Have them fax or send the order to Oasis. If it's easier, call us yourself and we'll start the paperwork and follow up with the prescribing office.

Directions from New City

From Main Street in New City, head west toward New Hempstead and pick up Route 45 going north. Route 45 carries you into Pomona and reaches its junction with Route 202 and the Palisades Interstate Parkway at Exit 12. Medical Park Drive is right at that junction. Turn in and Oasis Family Health is at number 11, Suite 104, toward the back of the office park. It runs about 6 miles on local roads, no highway needed, with free parking at the door. Figure 13 to 15 minutes once the Clarkstown buses are off Route 45.
